We in the Dojo

swingin BIG KATANAS!

Katanas: the anthem for bass ninjas across the globe. Masks on, hoods on, it's time to get trippy.

The lyrics, “We in the dojo swingin big katanas,” are an ode to the label Luke Rain calls home, Producer Dojo. In addition, the Left Field Bass tune is composed mainly of sounds designed by his label-mates and released as free packs during Producer Dojo’s ‘25 Days of Synthsmas’ giveaway. With lead bass and synth one-shots from RIP Kenny and Zodiak Iller, drum samples by Hexis, percussion from Spiderhound and vocal chops from Seancy and Trigem, Katanas shows off the strength of the ninja squad. Luke Rain’s chopped and skrew’d vocals bring the whole thing together into one fun tune.

And a special shout out goes to Zodiak Iller again for making this awesome visual for the song, and thanks to everyone who watches, listens and shares!

Katanas, the first single by Luke Rain to be released on the Producer Dojo Label, first appeared on the Class of 808, Vol. 3 EP alongside label-mates UHNK, Metasine, Synapps, Daniel Simmons and We Forgot…

Upon release, the EP shot to #2 on the Beatport charts, proppelled by the Dojo’s awesome fanbase. Listen to the Whole EP on Spotify or Apple Music, or read more about it here.
