Blues Rock meets Hip Hop and Festival bass in this powerful genre-blending tune.
This song came together when Seancy hit his Producer Dojo label mate Luke Rain up for a collaboration in the spring of 2020, just when we were all getting deep into quarantine life. Luke provided an acapella vocal that was inspired when he wanted to cheer his lady up after a tough day, reminding her to wash the emotions “down the storm drain,” and that the “future’s lookin bright and clear, cuz the sun is coming out my dear.”
Seancy jumped on chopping the vocal and crafting the bass line and drum groove that is the heart of the track, then the two worked via zoom sessions to craft the intro, buildup and arrangement. After that Seancy provided the rap verse and got his friend to lay down some live guitars, putting the Blues Rock cherry on top of this Bass Rap sundae.
